kefir too strong
Hello all. I just tried my first batch of kefir last night. My grains are
great and it really is easy to do, though I thought it was going to be very
difficult. Anyway, I mixed into my kefir some homemade jam that I make that
has strawberries, honey and a bit of lemon juice. I am on a very strict
diet, and cannot have sugar. I am allowed honey however. The kefir was
tolerable, but had an enormous bite to it. I am not really crazy about the
bite, and the smell is not too appealing. Anyone know what I can do to make
it more palatable? I use to drink kefir from the store when I was a child,
and I loved it then. So, I think there is hope, but I really want to enjoy
drinking this, and right now I think it is more like a chore. Thanks for any
help.
