OK, I tried a fork of my kraut before I put it in the fridge and
today, I took out a little more, maybe half a cup or something and ate
it. I did add salt before eating, because other than sour, it was
tasting rather plain. So, I think the kraut isn't really ready, yet.
But it did taste fizzy. Does your kraut taste fizzy? Anyone?
I had the impression it made my lips swell, but I guess it was just a
bit too sour for me :) I guess it would've been better with less
juice, so next time I let it drip more juice and keep that in the
fermenting vessel!
Hey and that was like 4 hours ago and I'm still alive :) no upset
stomach or anything, haha.
