Answer: It depends. :)
I water when I have whey. Depending on the amount, I use it either
straight or diluted (so that it gets around to every plant in need of
water).
As for how often: when they need watering. But keep in mind, I have my
own well water, not the chlorinated crap that comes out of city taps.
Hope that helps. You can probably give straight whey once the plant is
adjusted to it, as I sometimes also water with dilute coffee or tea :)
