Strange colours in things:
I have noticed once, that there was a Dark Red Film on My Kefir Grains when
I had them in the container in the fridge, with fresh milk. It looked every
bit just like Blood. I poured off the Kefir in it added some fresh milk, and
the next time the Dark Red Film was gone! I didn't develop Dark Red Vision,
or anything, the Kefir Milk tastes normal. I'm "N" normal, perhaps? My eyes
did not turn Dark Red! So it may not be such a Problem as you might have
thought. The White stuff in the Beet Juice, may be some sort of Scoby,
different from KT, but still a Scoby. The Black Stuff in Swollen Cans of
Veggies, is Botulin Toxin, and should be avoided, unless you are not
affected by it. Usually just a few micrograms will kill you! There are
people that are not affected by it, and they can drink the stuff, and it
does not harm them at all!

The grains can always be washed and put back in
fresh milk and see what happens
