Hardware stores have this kind of thing. In Canada, Canadian Tire has small
Stainless Steel Pots down to about 2 cup size. Some have Aluminum or Copper
heat spreaders on them too.

Subject: [Kefir_making] need small pot
For several years now I have been looking for small pot ( 1/2 or 3/4
quart) in which to heat a cup or two of broth. I used to have severel
enamel ones with long handles. After our recent microwaving
discussion, it dawned on me that they no longer make that kind of
thing because EVERYBODY ELSE would simply put the broth in a mug and
stick it in the microwave and spare themsevelves from cleaning an
extra pot.
Anybody have a resource for such an item?
Ellen
