Heck if I know. I'm guessing though that flies actually have a "height limit"
and don't like to go 120 feet into the air. Or maybe they tend to stay
lower and don't smell anything up that high, or there are more air
currents. I've noticed that the local mosquitos attack more if
I'm near the ground, gardening: they like to stay low. Given the birds
circling, looking for mosquitos, I'd guess that makes sense!

Someday I'd like to try that one: we have some tall alders around
here, I could put a pully up one ... it would be difficult for the
cats to get them up that high too ...
