my grains are like a clump of cauliflower. I divide them up if they get
bigger and the milk turns too fast.
I like a 24 hr ferment. That seems to work fine with 2 or 3 cups of milk.
My "grains" are not separate, its just 1 clump. Sometimes I have pieces
break off.
