There are whole black tribes in Africa that live on milk. I have a 60 year
old friend that has been lactose intolerant all her life. Gets the scoots
every time there is a smidgen of milk in anything she eats. I told her she
was sensitive to pasteurized milk. But raw milk did the same thing in the
beginning and even raw milk kefir. I suggested she take a teaspoon of raw
milk kefir per day and build up. It took six months but she can drink raw
milk now. And naturally kefir is no problem for her either.
I told her some of the benefits of the milk diet and she actually said she'd
like to try it. You have to understand that this woman got a huge reaction
every time she had milk in any form and had to bring enzyme tablets to
restaurants with her just in case. Now she realizes milk is not a problem
for her. She has lost her fear of milk. This doesn't mean everyone will have
this experience but we are all amazed she can drink milk now.
