Thanks Andrews for this suggestion. What you say is perfectly true and I had
forgotten about this particularity of kefir. I will certainly try some older
kefir. In fact I was even at the opposite side and trying to drink the
youngest possible kefir thinking that aging would result in more laxative
properties.
At least I'm happy I've thought about posting my problem. That's the right
thing to do when you get stucked in a wrong way.

I will keep you up to date !. Thanks for replying.

This is a memory from my childhood so don't quote me on this :)

I remember my mom using Kefir (store-bought, Russian version) to
regulate our stool. Indeed fresh Kefir supposed to be mild laxative
but with age it aquires opposite property. Of cause that Kefir was
bulk-manufactured but I hear rumors they did use kefir culture
(grains) during the process so it wasn't completely unrelated to Real
Kefir.

Try aging your Kefir off grains for 2-3 days in the fridge before
drinking.
