Jean,   the recipe I have says to strip 3-4 beans per 16 oz,   place in bottle 
complete with the pods  and seal tightly  and let alone for 2  MONTHS    turning
it upside and shaking vigorously every few days.    I'm most happy with the
brew.   Once done
you can dry the pods   and put in your sugar container-   yummy   vanilla
flavored sugar   for the KT
