I
bought RO water for a time, and found that there was this slime in it too,
The Organic Filter disolves a bit when water goes through it. Since then I
ve started to use a Water Distiller. Viruses are very small too and may get
through the RO filter. Viruses are destroyed by the Boiling action of the
distiller. Then you polish the water by putting it through a Carbon Block
Filter, this Removes 99% of the One Percent that was left over from
distilling the water, making it much purer than RO water, and there is no
longer that SLIME in the Water either!
Alfred!
Alfred, I've had an undersink R/O Watermaker for about 10 years, all the
filters, the storage tank, etc are changed out yearly and never seen slim in the
water. You stated you purchased R/O water, I question that r/o maker. Mine is
a multi-filtered r/o watermaker, does include carbon block.
