Thank you for posting this valuable info.
This 30 calorie count per 8 gr weight would be valid for this whey if it
were taken as is.
But I would say that making a kefir by fermenting this reconstituted whey,
would have much less calorie to the original
whey. Since whey powder contains approx 70% lactose., I would be inclined to
think that the calorie content is mostly due to the lactose content.
although the organic acids and possibly protein would also have a calorie
count.
