By the way Fummie, Lb. bifidus is very difficult
to grow in non-human milk without. Lb. bifidus
needs a specail growth factor which is not
pressent in caows milk. It's a specail
polysaccharide. In human milk, Lb. bifidus grow
very effective because this compound is also
present. Lb. bifidus is found naturllay occuring
in human mik.
This brings up a good point.... I wonder if kefir
can actualy help this bacteria with the
polysaccharide found in kefir?
I also wonder what commercial yogurt makers add to
cows milk to be able to grow Lb. biffidus when
they make yogurt with this Lb. bacteria etc.???

Yes it is very complicated. But making kefir is
all you realy need to know and this is very very
easy indead..LOL
