Very interesting posts.
I started making my own kefir 5 days ago, and I'm really getting to
like both dairy and water kefirs. I'm not sure which I like best. The
1st batch I made was out of organic whole milk, and that stuff was so
good - I could have drank a quart of it in one sitting with no
problem. Then I made some water kefir using lemon juice and honey that
was also *very* good, and like the last post in this thread said,
instinct tells me that this kefir is the *right thing to drink*.
I've been very hesitant to fork out high prices for expensive
probiotics, especially with my financial situation.
Now I've found a way to feed my body lots of probiotics for a lot less
money, and I like the taste of it too :-)
I've got some kefir d'aqua bubbling away, brewing right now.
Thanks again to the nice lady for sending the good grains to me. I'll
do the same for others some day in the not too distant future. I know
what I'm doing now and I think my grains will be replicating.
Good health to you.
