been drinking the kvass now for at least a month, and have not had any
bad side effects. The film is sometimes a think film, sometimes looks
like snow flakes, sometimes is there, sometimes isn't there. It is not
mold. If it is big, I pour the kvass through a strainer into my glass;
if not, I just pour. I did check this out with others on three lists
and with Sally Fallon at the Weston Price foundation (because the
kvass recipe is in her book in a chapter on super tonics), and she had
someone write me back and say that others have had this as well.

That's it exactly, white film, looking like snowflakes. I did strain
it and we drank it. Good to know it's not unheard of and that it's not
dangerous.
